Disney’s Visa Debit Card

Chase today announced the launch of the new Disney’s Visa® Debit Card. The new card gives customers access to special Cardmember perks when visiting Walt Disney World® and the Disneyland® Resorts and when shopping at DisneyStore.com and Disney Store locations.  Disney’s Visa® Debit Card is available now and has no annual fee.

Disney’s Visa® Debit Cardmembers will receive the following year-round perks, including:

  • 10% off on select merchandise purchases of $50 or more at DisneyStore.com and Disney Store locations and at select locations atWalt Disney World Resort® and Disneyland Resort®
  • Access to a private Cardmember location at Walt Disney World Resort®and Disneyland Resort® where Cardmembers can meet some of their favorite Disney Characters and receive a complimentary 5 x 7 photo
  • 10% off select dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort® and Disneyland Resort® (meal period restrictions may apply)
  • 20% off the non-discounted price of select guided tours
  • $50 onboard credit when Cardmembers pay for their Disney Cruise Line® vacation in full with their Disney’s Visa® Card and mention this offer

The Disney’s Visa® Debit Card is the latest addition to the suite of Disney’s Visa® Cards offered by Chase.  The Disney Rewards® Visa® Credit Card was introduced in 2003 and earlier this year, Chase launched Disney’s Premier Visa® Credit Card from Chase.

Chase checking customers can switch their current Chase Debit Card to a Disney’s Visa® Debit Card by visiting their local branch or calling Chase Customer Service at (800) 935-9935.

Disney’s Visa® Debit Card is available with all Chase checking accounts excluding High School and Access Checking.  Standard eligibility requirements apply.

Disney VISA Free Dining, Fall 2012

Travel Dates: September 30 – December 13, 2012

Walt Disney World has announced an extension of the “Free Dining” promotion. Not all dates during the “travel dates” listed above are included, you must check in on one of the following days:

  • September 30 – October 4, 2012
  • October 19 – November 1, 2012
  • November 9 – 15, 2012
  • November 23 – 29, 2012
  • December 10 – 13, 2012

Currently, the discount is only available to Disney VISA cardholders. With the “Free Dining” promotion, Disney resort guests who book a Magic Your Way package that includes both your Disney resort room and your Magic Your Way park passes, will receive one of the Disney Dining plan add-on for free for all guest three and older in their party. There are a few requirements:

  • You must book at least a three night stay, and your stay cannot be longer than 14 nights
  • You must include at least a two day Magic Your Way base ticket
  • You must pay your $200 per room deposit at time of booking with your Disney VISA, you cannot “hold” a reservation
  • Free Quick Service Dining at the value resorts, free Disney Dining at other Disney resorts
  • Guests can upgrade to other dining plans by paying the price difference.

Availability is extremely limited, and must be booked by September 29, 2012 To receive the Disney VISA cardholder discount, you must pay your deposit at time of booking with your Disney VISA, and you must pay the balance with your Disney VISA card as well, when due.

Please note that while most dates during the Fall are blacked out, as long as you check in on an available travel date, the free dining on your package will extend past that date. As usual, this discount is subject to availability.
